Greetings!

Welcome to Lutheran Campus Ministry in San Luis Obispo!  LCM is an outreach of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church to serve the spiritual needs of Cal Poly and Cuesta students in deepening faith, expanding minds, and inspiring service.

I began serving as Pastor of College and Young Adult Ministry at Mt. Carmel in 2001. I'm originally from Colorado and have spent time in both Southern and Northern California and Ohio working with youth and young adults in several other churches.

Lutheran Campus Ministry is a welcoming, supportive, open, and giving community of students and young adults. We meet weekly for Bible study and student-led worship, monthly for free BBQs, quarterly for our famous Pancake parties during Poly's finals week, and at other times for service events, retreats, and other fun stuff. Mt. Carmel's mission as a congregation is to "Gather, Grow and Go -- For God!" And that's what LCM is doing! Feel free to drop by the LCM Center anytime, or visit Bible study on Tuesdays or any of Mt. Carmel's worship services.(Click here for a map -- some students tell me they have trouble finding Mt. Carmel. We're just two blocks from the Cal Poly campus at Fredericks Street and Grand Avenue -- right next to Highway 101.)
